TINOLANG TAHONG

Serving: 8 to 10 people
2 kilos tahong
5 tbsp cooking oil
5 cloves garlic minced
2 onions peeled and chopped
5 thumb sized ginger chopped
5 tbsp fish sauce
2 bunches sili leaves
5 pcs sili
6 cups water
In a large wok, pre heat oil
Saute ginger, garlic and onion for 3 minutes.
Add the tahong and fish sauce.
Cover and cook for 3 minutes to extract the tahong juice, cover.
Uncover and add 6 cups of water, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Uncover, add the sili leaves and the sili.
Cover and simmer for 1 minute.
Serve
