ISDA NA LUTO SA TAUSI
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 3 with steamed rice
4 pcs king fish steaks (3/4 lb)
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
2 large tomatoes, chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup water
1/2 can fermented black beans
Coat pan with cooking spray and
Fry fish with cooking oil until brown.
Total cooking time is 3 minutes.
Transfer to a plate.
Be careful fish is delicate.
Meanwhile -saute onions, tomatoes and ginger for 3 minutes.
Mash aromatics until soft.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add 1/4 cup water and continue to cook using medium heat.
Remove the brine because it’s salty.
Add 1/2 can of the black beans into the pan.
Add 1/2 cup water and season with ground pepper.
Add another 1/2 cup water.
Add fish and simmer.
Adjust heat to medium.
Cook for another 2 minutes.
Turn off heat and done!
