GINATAANG SITAW AT ALIMASAG
Prep time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4 to 6 with steamed rice
4 tbsp cooking oil
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
2 large tomatoes, chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp store bought bagoong
1 can coconut milk
1/2 tbsp ground pepper
1 can crab meat – pre cooked
2 bunches of sitaw, ends removed and cut into 1 1/2 inch length
1 bag of chicharon
Pre heat cooking oil
Saute onions and tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add bagoong and cook for 10 seconds then add coconut milk.
Season with ground pepper.
Bring to simmer.
Add crab meat, cover and cook for 2 minutes
Add long beans,
Cover and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat.
Uncover and add chicharon.
Turn off heat.
