INIGANG NA HIPON SA KAMIAS

Cook time: 25 minutes
Serving: 10 people
Ingredients:
2 liters water
1 kilo fresh Kamias, (balimbi), ends removed
3 tbsp salt
1 onion, peeled and cut in halves
6 pcs tomatoes, quartered
2 kilos medium size shrimp – antennas removed
1 big radish sliced
8 stalks sitaw cut into 6 inch length
8 pcs okra cut in half
3 pcs eggplant sliced
1 bunch kangkong
6 pcs green pepper
Instruction:
Boil water in a pot and add kamias.
Cover. Boil for 10 minutes.
Uncover.
Remove kamias and let cool.
Mash kamias in a strainer to get the juice using a fork.
In the same pot. Add salt, onions and tomatoes.
Cover. Cook for 10 minutes.
Uncover.
Add kamias juice and shrimp.
Add radish and sitaw.
Add okra and eggplant.
Cover. Cook for 5 minutes.
Uncover.
Add kangkong and green pepper.
Cover and turn off the heat.
