GINATAANG LANGKA (GREEN JACKFRUIT WITH PORK IN COCONUT CREAM)

Serving: 10 people
Ingredients:
5 tbsp cooking oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 onions, peeled and chopped
7 tbsp alamang- (shrimp paste or bagoong will work too)
750 grams ground pork
6 cups water
6 pieces red chilli pepper chopped (Thai chiles or labuyo)
1 kilo langka ( green jackfruit) chopped
4 1/2 cups coconut cream coconut milk will be fine
6 pcs green pepper chopped
Instruction:
Heat oil in a pot and saute garlic and onion.
Cook it for 2 minutes and until fragrant.
Add alamang and cook for 3 minutes with continuous stirring.
Add ground pork and water. Cover. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Uncover.
Add chilli pepper, langka (green jackfriuit) and coconut cream.
Cover. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Uncover. Add green pepper.
Cover.
Simmer for 5 minutes
Serve.
