What I discovered was acid truly removes the bitterness of bittermelon.Watch the video and see how I successfully removed the bitterness of the bittermelon.As for the mangoes, the ones that i used on the video were from Latin America. They are yellow but very firm and hardly sweet at all. With the tiny bit of heat from the serrano peppers and the acidity of the tomatoes – I truly enjoyed eating it after my recording. The fish sisig is just an option. I had some leftover to go from Pinoy Grill restaurant from a previous taping and I decided to use it. I hope you enjoy the video.Happy Cooking!
