CHICKEN TONKATSU PAMBAON SA TRABAHO
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4 pcs
4 large pieces, boneless, skinless chicken breast- sliced thinly (butterflied)
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup Lady’s Choice Sandwich Spread
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp ground pepper
chopped green onions for garnish
Cooking oil for frying
Prepare 3 separate bowls.
Bowl 1 – place flour and season with salt and pepper.
Bowl 2 – Whisk eggs with LCSS until smooth
Bowl 3 – Place bread crumbs
Wear gloves if you can.
Dredge each piece of chicken in the the flour.
Then into the eggs
then into the bread crumbs.
Make sure the oil is hot (350F).
Fry each piece until golden brown and inside is fully cooked (165F)
Combine oyster sauce with sesame oil and season with ground pepper.
Slice chicken into strips, glaze with oyster sauce, garnish with chopped green onions
Serve with steamed rice and omelet.
