SINIGANG NA BANGUS SA MISO AT LEMON
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 to 15 minutes
Yields: 4 with steamed rice
3 tbsp cooking oil
2 large tomatoes, chopped
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
2 knobs ginger (2 tbsp) peeled and chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 Cup miso paste (japanese or korean miso)
1 cup water
2 cups of water or broth
ground pepper
juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp fish sauce
1large fish (milk fish) cleaned and cut into big pieces
a bunch of mustard greens
Pre heat oil for a minute
then add onions and tomatoes and cook for a minute
Add ginger and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add miso paste and add water or broth
Increase heat to medium then bring to boil.
Add lemon juice
After 2 minutes.
Add fish sauce
Add fish, arrange in the pan.
Adjust heat to low.
Cover and cook for a minute
Add mustard greens and cover.
Cook for 2 minutes.
Turn off heat.
Serve with steamed rice
