Prep time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 50 minutes
Yields: 4 pcs (6 inch pork loaves)
1 lb (454 grams) ground pork
100 grams grated carrots
200 grams finely chopped green cabbage
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp ground pepper
1 can liver spread
4 pcs white bread crust – torn into small pieces
1 hard boiled eggs (cut into 4 wedges)
4 pcs vienna sausage – sliced in half
Combine all ingredients except garnishes.
Divide into 4 portions
Use an aluminum foil to roll loaves
Place 1/4 wedge of hard boiled eggs
and 1 pc vienna sausage sliced into 2 on both ends of the pork loaf before rolling.
Steam for 50 minutes.
Cool down to firm up.
I placed my embutido in the freezer for an hour before i sliced it in front of camera.
