BACON WRAPPED ONION RINGS PLUS MINI TOUR
Note: I don’t know how big or how many onion pieces you will make. So I will just write down the batter recipe below. Know that the onions were sliced in 1/2 inch thickness and fried between 1 to 1 1/2 minutes over 350 F clean vegetable oil.
16 Onion rings
16 raw bacon slices
2 cups cooking oil
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
salt and pepper
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup water
1 egg
1 to 2 cups seasoned bread crumbs
Combine flour,baking powder,salt and pepper.
Add milk and water and keep whisking.
Add egg and whisked until smooth.
Wrap onions with bacon slices.
Dip into the batter and rest for 5 minutes.
Dredge into bread crumbs.
Pre heat oil to 350 F.
Fry until golden brown.
