TUNA-MUSHROOMS CREAMY PASTA

TUNA MUSHROOMS CREAMY PASTA

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Yields: 4 servings as main dish

1 lb spaghetti noodles cooked in package instructions
Cooking spray
8 oz white button mushrooms, halved
salt and pepper
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp olive oil
4 oz finely chopped onions
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 cans evaporated milk
salt and pepper
1/2 tsp sugar
4 cans of tuna with the water or oil in it.
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
Meanwhile, coat a pan with cooking spray.
Cook mushrooms over high heat for 5 minutes until brown.
Season with salt and pepper.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
Same pan – melt butter with oil.
when dissolved – add onions and garlic and cook for 1 1/2 minutes
Add flour, stir constantly for 45 seconds until cooked and dissolved.
Add milk, keep stirring and cook for 45 seconds.
Add tuna and its juice.
Season with sugar, salt and pepper.
Adjust heat to low and simmer for a minute.
Add fresh basil leaves.
Stir.
Turn off heat.
Serve with the pasta.
Enjoy..
