SITAW REBOSADO/BEER BATTERED LONG BEANS

Cooking time: 3 minutes
Yields: serves 4 as a snack
1 lb Chinese long beans, ends cut off and cut into 2 1/2 inch length
1 cup freshly opened beer (with fizz)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
2 tbsp cornstarch
3/4 cup all purpose flour
Pre heat oil to 350 F.
As you fry keep the oil temperature between 350f to 400 F.
Combine all ingredients except beans.
Combine well and make sure it result to slightly thin paste consistency.
Dip each piece of beans and fry in batches between 2 to 3 minutes.
MAYONNAISE AND HOT SAUCE
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup hot sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
Combine all ingredients well. Serve as a dipping sauce.
