SINIGANG NA KARNE SA BAYABAS
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes or less (i used pressure cooker to manage the time)
Yields: serves 4 with steamed rice.
1 1/2 lbs beef short ribs16 pcs riped guava (bought it at latin market)2 pcs taro or gabi, peeled and quarteredfish sauce

eggplantokrachinese long beansMustard greens or pechay, spinach or kangkong
Place guavas in a pot after rinsing it and removing the tips.
Bring guavas in a boil for 12 minutes.Then cool down.Process using a blender.Strain and extract juice.Discard the guava meat and skin.
Meanwhile,
Pre heat oil in a pan.Saute your aromatics (onions and tomatoes for 3 minutes)
then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.Meanwhile cook beef using a pressure cooker with about 6 cups of water.Pressurize it for 25 minutes or until tender. Save broth.
let’s go back to our sauteing the aromatics.to the pan add guava broth – slowlyAdd beef broth from the pressure cooker.Add taro or gabi.Add cooked beef.Season with fish sauce.Add ground pepperCover and cook for 5 minutes.
Uncover and add radish or labanos.Add eggplant, okra, long beans (sitaw) can use green beans.Stir and cover.Cook for 2 minutes.
Uncover and add mustard greens or any greens.Cover and cook for 2 minutes.Serve.
