Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Yields: 6 round pcs (4 bite size)
1 package frozen pre boiled bananas – cut into small pieces
NOTE: if you are using the fresh saba – use 10 medium size slightly “green” or maniba bananas –
2 to 4 tbsp melted butter
3 to 4 tsbp condensed milk
2 cups “fresh” grated coconut
NOTE: If using frozen, thaw it first, toast it for 3 minutes and chopped like in my cooking video.
If using frozen bananas, thaw it first, cut in small pieces and cook in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes then set aside.
If using fresh saba – boil it for 30 minutes until soft before proceeding to the next step. Peel cooked bananas, cool it down and cut into small pieces.
IF YOU are not using food processor – you can mash bananas with the rest of the ingredients.
In a food processor – combine bananas, butter and milk.
Process until smooth but slightly chunky.
To serve nicely – please follow my instructions from the cooking video.
Or just mold it according to your preference and roll it with toasted coconut.
Enjoy.
