Masarsang Kalderetang Manok na may queso
4 large pieces chicken thighs – bone in, skin on
1/2 cup cooking oil
Season chicken with salt and pepper
fry to half cook the chicken – 8 to 10 minutes
remove chicken and oil
Leave 4 tbsp cooking oil in the dutch oven.
Saute –
onions and garlic
ground pepper
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire
1 tbsp sugar
1 small can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups water
1 chicken cube
Cover and bring to a boil – 2 minutes
Uncover
Add
1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1/2 can liver spread (Reno)
Add chicken back
Add another 1 1/2 cups of water
add potatoes
add carrots
Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Uncover and cook for another 5 minutes.
Add red and green bell pepper
Add thai chiles.
Grate cheese on top.
Cover.
Turn off heat and leave it alone for 5 minutes.
Serve
