Grilled Prawns

How to make grilled prawns

  • Prep time: 15 minutes
  • Cooking time: 3 minutes per batch
  • Yields: 14 prawns

Ingredients

  • 14 prawns, split, open, and deveined
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large tomato, diced small
  1. Make the paste by combining ginger, garlic,cilantro, cumin, masala, butter, oil and
    salt and pepper..
  2. Rub it inside each prawns. Reserve some of the past for sauce.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Grill or pan sautée for 30 seconds each side.
  5. Remove from the pan.
  6. Meanwhile, heat 2 tbsp olive oil in pan and add tomatoes.
  7. Add left over paste.
  8. Stir and cook for a minute.
  9. Drizzle into prawns and serve.
