PAN FRIED TILAPIA WITH MUSTARD SAUCE
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2 pcs tilapia fillets
2 pcs tilapia fillets
1/2 cup cornstarch
salt and pepper
cooking oil for frying
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp cream cheese, softened
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Chicken broth
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tbsp mustard
salt and pepper
Combine cornstarch with salt and pepper.
Coat the fish.
Fry fish until golden brown and crispy.
Set aside.
Meanwhile – make the sauce
Using a small sauce pan
Pre heat cooking oil and saute garlic.
Add broth and lemon juice.
Bring to a boll
Slowly whisk in mustard, cream cheese and butter.
Season with salt and pepper.
Simmer
Add chopped parsley as garnish.
Drizzle on top of fried tilapia and serve.
KIMCHI FRIED RICE
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: less than 10 minutes
Yields: serves 2
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 pcs Chinese sausage, casings remove
2 cups kimchi
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups steamed rice (leftovers)
2 eggs beaten
salt and pepper.
1/2 cup green onions.
optional (4 oz baked salmon, flaked)
Pre heat cooking oil for a minute
then add Chinese sausage.
Cook the sausage until brown (2 minutes)
Add kimchi and cook for a minute.
Create a well at the center and add garlic.
Cook for 30 seconds.
Create a well at the center and add rice.
Cook and keep stirring for 2 minutes.
Create a well at the center and add beaten eggs.
Season with salt and ground pepper.
Keep cooking and stirring.
add green onions.
fold in flaked salmon.
Stirk, cook for a minute.
Turn off heat.
