CAMARON CON BROCCOLI
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 8 minutes
yields: 4 servings with steamed rice
1 egg
3 tbsp all purpose flour
1/4 cup water
salt and water
1 lb medium size shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup cooking oil for frying
4 tbsp cooking oil
1 medium size onion, peeled ad finely chopped
5 cloves gariic, minced
1/2 cup chicken stock
3 tbsp good quality soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
salt and pepper
1 lb broccoli florets
Combine egg, flour, water and salt and pepper.
Dip shrimp.
Fry shrimp until golden brown. 2 minutes.
Meanwhile, pre heat 4 tbsp cooking oil.
Saute onions and garlic for 2 minutes.
Adjust heat to medium.
add broth, soy sauce.
Season with sugar, salt and pepper.
Add broccoli.
Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
Uncover.
Add cooked shrimp.
Combine.
Serve with steamed rice.
