BUTTER PUTO OR RICE CAKES
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Yields: 10 cakes
1 1/2 cups rice flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3/4 cups sugar (it’s too sweet for me, you can just add 1/2 cup instead of 3/4 cup)
2 eggs
2 tbsp melted butter
1 cup coconut milk
4 tbsp water
Sift all dried ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Then add wet ingredients.
Combine well until smooth.
Coat molders with cooking spray.
Pour batter into molders up to 3/4 capacity.
Steam between 8 to 10 minutes.
Cover the steamer with a kitchen cloth before putting the lid.
Cool down completely.
Unmold.
Brush with melted butter.
Serve.
